The guest speaker for our February 6th meeting is Lee Hamm. The meeting will be hosted in Room 101, Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park at 6:30 PM.
Lee Hamm is the Recreation and Lands Officer for the Palomar Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. Established in 1908, the Cleveland National Forest is the southern-most National Forest in California. Consisting of 460,000 acres, the forest offers a wide variety of terrains and recreational opportunities.
Lee’s presentation is titled: “Foraging, Hunting, and Fishing on the Cleveland National Forest”
Lee has a B.S. in Wildlife Science from Auburn University, and a M.S. in Natural Resource Ecology and Management from Oklahoma State University where he studied gamebirds. He has previously worked for the United States Marine Corps, The National Park Service, and US Fish and Wildlife Service. He enjoys hunting, fishing, foraging, diving, and spending time with his (very understanding) wife.
Join us before the meeting at 4:30 PM as we treat our guest speaker to dinner at Blue Water Grill (3667 India St, San Diego, CA 92103).
