The Mesa College Department of Culinary Arts will be hosting a special mushroom dinner for club members at 5pm. The event is open only to San Diego Mycology members and has limited first-come-first-serve seating. The price of the dinner is $20. Longtime SDMS member Jean Leighton passed away New Year’s Eve. She was 86. Jean was well known for her company, Impact Decorating, in which she used creativity and artistry to furnish decorations for conventions, businesses, events and parties. Jean ran Impact Decorating for more than 30 years.
