We love being mycophagists, or people that like to eat mushrooms! We are having one of our favorite events to close out the year… aΒ potluck!
We will also be having our White Elephant Gift Exchange.Β We’d love to have you participate in one of our traditions!

6:30 – 8:30pm
We invite you to bring a delicious dish to share! It does not have to include mushrooms, but those are always a hit! You may also bring store bought if you prefer.
We will have a card to fill out in advance for the ingredients list. This is useful for those that may have allergies or dietary restrictions. ***If you are using wild/foraged mushrooms, please note that also!***
We ask that you bring your own reusable cup/bowl/plate and utensils, since we are environmental stewards. Let’s help promote and save the environment by using less plastic!
Please note that we do not have kitchen access, but there will be outlets for keeping food warm with crock pots.
For those that want to participate in the White Elephant Gift Exchange, please bring a present for the exchange (this is an optional activity). Mushroom themed items are always coveted and unique packaging can make the exchange even more fun. Gift items are suggested at $15.
Volunteers are needed for setting up and decorating the room. Set-up will beginΒ at 6:00pm. We need help arranging tables and chairs, placing tablecloths and decorating. Feel free to bring greenery or decorations!
***Please keep rain in your thoughts so we can get out into the field and foray!
***Reminder that you can always bring in specimens for identification to our meetings! Let’s show and tell what you’ve found in your local neighborhoods!
